My Tent

I have pitched my tent at the far end of Autumn Farm, beyond the pastures with the three cows. A little piece of tranquility and peace under a tree decorated with ribbons.

WWOOFing at the gay farm

Loppers and wood splitters. Rakes and clippers. Wheel barrows and mowers. Chainsaws and matches.

Trailers and secateurs. Mulch. Pick axes. Crow bars and nails. Concrete and sawdust

Compost, shovels and stakes. Pegs. String. Axes, saws, wire cutters and hammers. Gloves.

Tipi living with Andrew

Andrew is from San Francisco and has joined the Autumn Farm wwoof team. We have spent much of this week raking the circle field, smokin' and laughing.

We have moved out of the loft into our very own tipi for the summer. The walls do not reach the floor - which is a ventilation advantage on hot days, but is irresistable to the local hedgehogs, who visit us in the middle of the night and snuffle round our bed.
